Multi level terraces for a back yard provided egress from an existing home to a new garden. Landscape Architectural design started with the construction of three levels of stone masonry. The upper terrace is supported by masonry walls including a large masonry planter and a dining/BBQ space. The glass and stainless steel railings were custom designed for this project. The other two terraces are integrated with the topography, staircases included. The new gardens are built into the surrounding property incorporating existing trees. Using the stone material of the terraces, the new garden is delineated by retaining walls. Lush plantings of seasonal color highlight the view from the terraces into the back yard.
